These days have been really exciting for us! Not only did we win the European Product Design Award, our aim to generate innovations helped KENTAGO GmbH to protect the design for TRICURO go - resulting into an invitation to the Design Europa Awards by the European Union Intellectual Property Office! Congratulations!
European Product Design Award
We just received the European Product Design Award for TRICURO go, a clever smartphone attachment we designed along with an intuitive app for Kentago GmbH. It helps health managers, physiotherapists, fitness trainers or osteopaths to easily measure the spine and display it on the mobile phone display. Core 77 Feature
Our design company “Neongrey” is honoured to be included on the first published list of woman-led industrial design firms. Thank you Core 77 and especially Tianyi Chang for recommending us! Here is the link: https://www.core77.com/posts/109782/20-Woman-led-Industrial-Design-n-Innovation-Firms
kengtago tricuro go - user interface
When start-up Kentago GmbH approached us to design both hardware and digital app for its innovative product TRICURO go (which helps health professionals to measure the spine) we were over the moon. By being involved in the sum of all user interactions we were able to ensure highest customer satisfaction. We love the reduction of elements to a minimum: The combination of the intelligence of the mobile phone, the sensors of the device and the app ensures a blend of the latest technology with an intuitive and optimized workflow. Kentago TRICURO go
Many of us suffer from back problems, often caused by lack of exercise or one-sided physical strain at work. This is why we got pretty excited when German Start-Up Kentago approached us to help them design a clever smartphone attachment with which health managers, physiotherapists, fitness trainers or osteopaths can easily measure the spine and display it on the mobile phone display. In this project we designed an ecosystem combining the intelligence of mobile phones, the sensors of the device and an app, which ensures a blend of latest technology with an intuitive and optimized workflow.

Sneak Peak - Grasshopper at Neongrey
At neongrey (www.neongrey.io) we kicked-off a series of sneak-peaks into our work with Grasshopper. Thanks to parametric algorithms we can create complex geometries and patterns which stand in relationship to each other. Another advantage: later adjustment of the data can be carried out quickly and easily.
Happy New Year!
With the opening of neongrey design studio (www.neongrey.io), 2019 has been quite exciting for us! Let's give you a glimpse into what we have been up to over the last few months:
While we worked on audio equipment, smart home automation and an exciting glass project, we also got the chance to hold design thinking workshops. Generative patterns and recycled materials were some of the main drivers of our designs. We got some compelling additions to our material library and gathered inspiration from our visits to fairs and design weeks. Most importantly we grew our network of partners within production, research and development. Stay tuned and follow us - we will shed the light on more specific details in 2020!
We wish you a healthy, happy and prosperous new year!
Dutch Design Week 2019
We just got back from Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven. A lot of great work in terms of interactive installations, crafts/materiality and most importantly sustainability - a topic which is the main driver in our current project at neongrey (https://www.neongrey.io/). We hope to share more in the upcoming weeks.

On Stage at Bosch's Impact Night
Last week I was invited at Bosch's UX Impact Night in Stuttgart to talk about the "Power of Place" and how Steelcase believes that work place can help to engage employees. It was a great evening with very nice hosts, pizza and beer. Thank you to everyone involved!
